“Apologies to you, Patrick, for not posting a review sooner. We relocated to Northampton from out of state in May and of course I needed to find a new stylist. I read many salon reviews, visited websites, but kept coming back to Patrick’s. Something about him seemed like a good fit, and my instincts were correct.Patrick does outstanding work, listens (a biggie!) and educates you about your unique tresses. He does carry quality products, but doesn’t push any of them. He’s also a kind and sweet person, and it’s always delightful spending time in his chair.Services: Blowouts“

“At the time of writing, she's $22 for a hair cut. Hue is super consistent and reliable. I've always gone to her for pretty standard men's cut (tapers, trims). She moves pretty efficiently and takes walk ins. When I went today, 3 people were ahead of me and it was just over an hour wait. Plenty of free off street parking in the lot shared with Dunkin.I asked for a low to skin taper up into a 1 or 2, and to only even out the top. It's not quite to skin but it looks far cleaner than when I came in. I'm happy with it.Hair type: Straight hair.“

“Absolutely loved my first experience with Caren. So attentive and knows what she's doing. Such a fun personality too, had me smiling and laughing during the whole haircut. Even with my asian hair, she knew how to best approach it and even walked me through the specific differences that she accounts for in different hair types. She gave me exactly what i wanted and even provided input and advice about how to imrpove the look. There's a special kind of feeling in finding a hairstylist who you know will be your go to. I'm glad to have found someone I can go to for the next 4 years while in college.“

“I recently had an amazing facial at pure Beauty Studio in South Deerfield, MA and want you all to know about it:Lian Reed did a phenomenal facial for me. I have had many facials in my life but hers topped them all. I was 10 mins early cause that’s just how I am, and she greeted me friendly and advised me she was almost ready. She showed me to the room and gave me instructions on how to prepare for the facial. She asked me a few questions about my skin care routine and products I currently use, and then started promptly. The room was dimly lit and had very relaxing music playing on a warming and soft esthetician bed with soft blankets to keep me comfortable. Her massage was the perfect pressure for me and what I requested on the online form. She made me feel like a million bucks! The organic skin care line they use, “Eminence” is amazing! It feels and smells wonderful. Overall I left there feeling like I just left a high-end spa. Highly recommend Lian, if you’ve never had a facial, get one. I have already booked my next one and can’t wait!“

“Great haircut! I have straight-ish medium-length hair (with bangs) that is growing curlier as I grey (yay!). When I first visited Fringe Studio for Hair a month ago, I asked for a cut that would help my hair curl with a minimum of fuss. Jen did wonders for my hair! I can't believe how great it's been over the weeks since my cut. It feels fuller with more body than it has ever felt before (and most days I only wash and condition!).
