SSAA is scamming patients. Like the other reviewer, we received a HUGE bill from this provider after our daughter was born because they don't accept United Health Care. The hospital was in-network and the doctor specifically was in-network but not this anesthesiologist. It seems entirely predatory and they will not negotiate their fee at all. I have spent countless hours on the phone with them, our insurance, and even the Attorney General's office to sort this out and they are absolutely impossible to reason with. Our insurance also told us the fee they charge for a routine epidural is well above the local market rate. If you plan to have a baby at South Shore Hospital, dig into this.

For anyone who is planning on having a child at South Shore Hospital, these guys will be your anesthesiologists. If you have Aetna, they are NOT COVERED and you will get a huge bill because they are out of network. Unlike most doctors, they will also not negotiate or work with you to help with your portion of co-insurance - basically tough luck. Also, the doctor who gave me my epidural basically needed three tries to get the needle in, which was super painful. Super disappointed.
