In Sept 2022, JT Smith, owner of Garside Monuments, collected from us and cashed a check for $2762 to pay in full for a cemetery monument. He delivered nothing but lies. In April 2023, we filed a complaint in small claims court and received a judgement requiring a full refund. He failed to appear in court and now has civil arrest warrant issued against him for contempt of court. We have yet to receive any refund. This is a complete SWINDLE - STAY AWAY. Turns out we are not the only victims - check it out with BBB, etc. One star is far too kind. Swindling a senior citizen over a cemetery stone is about as low as you can go. No better than a thief.

I read the reviews and can only assume they are referring to somebody else and not to “the” PT we met. He was incredibly helpful to us at the worst moment of our lives. After a long absence from Westford, I stopped at his former office to thank him, belatedly, for everything he did for us, and was disappointed to learn that he was was there no more and there was no forwarding address. Wherever you are, PT, please accept our heartfelt thanks and our good wishes to you and your family. J. Martin

I posted earlier; after seeing the news on Fox 25 it confirmed to me that he is a thief. Many people including my 95 year old Mom were lied to . She buried her special needs daughter; on social security only and he cashed her check within 2 days. Never engraved the headstone never returned her money never returned a phone call. This is so sad. Don’t use Garside. A shame. The company under his grandfather( when we purchased headstone for my Dad) had a good honorable name.
