As a new homeowner it is very intimidating to interact with contractors. Mike was so exceptional to deal with from the first phone-call to the final walk around. Not only did Mike take the time to explain how the job was going to be performed and what it would look like, he also made a sketch. The job performed was exactly what was discussed. From removing the rotted wood, framing with specific materials, flashing, spray foam, vinyl trim, caulking.....it was everything Mike said it would be. The job was done CLEAN and PROPERLY. When I bought my house in 2019, the only notable thing the home inspector identified was that the windows were in poor shape--all of them--so they'd all need to be replaced. My neighbor, a builder, recommended a window supplier, and the supplier recommended BuildEx for the install. Working with BuildEx was a breeze. The crew answered all my questions, delivered the windows themselves when the supplier couldn't, did a quality and efficient install, and threw in repainting a problem vent on my attic for free.
