I have a 20-year-old Kenmore electric dryer that was working on and off for a while, but then wasn't getting any heat. My husband wanted me to replace it, but the new ones were too big for the small space my dryer is located in, plus too expensive. I saw an Advantage van at a local grocery store and decided to risk paying for a service call to see if it could be repaired. Being pretty sure I was wasting my money, I anxiously waited as Jimmy took the dryer apart. Guess what? It was just some loose wires to the heater element, and he was able to fix it! Jimmy was courteous and professional, and he also vacuumed out all the lint that had accumulated around the drum and left the area clean. He commented that my dryer was in great condition and much better made than the new ones, so I feel like I have a new dryer for less than $200! Thank you, Advantage!
I would wholeheartedly recommend this company. After repeated service calls from the appliance dealer where we bought our washing machine (that did not fix our washer) I called Maytag directly and they hooked us up with Advanced.
