“I am shocked by the negative reviews here! I completed my 3rd visit with Newton Wellesley Dermatology yesterday, each with Ms. Marya Woodruff Ochs who I highly recommend. My first visit was for an annual body skin check where a biopsy was performed on a suspicious spot and thankfully negative. The next two visits were for cosmetic purposes, specifically the freezing of sun spots on my face. I returned because I was so very pleased with the dramatic results of the first visit. Not only was I pleased with the expertise of Ms. Ochs, but for the efficiency of this office during each of my three visits! Thank you, staff members, for your highly professional care!“

“Our second baby was born with a weird rash and was referred to this practice by our birthing hospital. We were nervous at first and worried about co-morbidities that sometimes occur with this rash. Dr. Burnett was very thorough, patient, and answered all of our questions and was awesome with our baby. Loved her and this practice so much that my husband and I switched our dermatology care to here. We usually see her colleague, Dr. Lunder, who is also amazing and takes time to address and answer any of our concerns. All other staff are also very warm and friendly. You’re in good hands here!“

“Dr. Ip and her team are incredible professionals who know what they are doing. I have always struggled with acne, which led to acne scarring, hyperpigmentation and dark spots! As a woman of color, I recognize how important it is to see someone who has experience with skin like mine. I didn't realize how important it was until I saw several dermatologists who either did not recommend products or services that worked or they made my skin worse. They just did not understand my skin. I read about Dr. Ip and decided to try Vibrant Dermatology. The office is 120 miles round trip for me and it's absolutely worth the drive!! On my first visit Dr. Ip spent some time with me understanding my needs and my history. We made a plan and I started to see results but had to pause while going through IVF, pregnancy and then breastfeeding. Now that I am back on the skincare routine Dr. Ip prescribed, and seeing her regularly for treatments, in less than a year I hardly recognize my skin! For the first time since childhood I feel confident in my skin! I don't even wear makeup anymore - and for years I would not be caught without it. For those people that say they didn't see progress after one session... yea...skincare takes a little time! Dr. Ip explained that to me, and told me that consistency (and sunscreen) are key to seeing results. Especially for significant issues like acne scarring or dark spots, I knew it would take some time to see dramatic differences. The office takes photos on every visit and although I hate looking at my old skin, I like to do it and remind myself that even though there still more progress to go, the improvement has been incredible already. Also, yes some of the procedures are expensive and most of them aren't paid by my insurance, but I'm seeing results and it has been more than worth the money. I'd rather pay to see the results I want than to nickel and dime for products and services that don't work. I highly recommend Vibrant Dermatology!!“

“Very good practitioners and service. I had a fairly good size basal cell patch on my back and I was very happy to have that removed. Any anxiety I had was calmed due to the professional attitude and services provided.
The only thing is there had been some confusion with the scheduling of my appointment. I had received email for multiple days for the same appointment. The original one never got cancelled so I showed up. It actually turned out to my benefit so no complaints. But I was a bit panicked when I saw I had an appointment at 11am and it was already 10am. I rushed to get there and it turned out that had been rescheduled for the next day. But while I was waiting in the waiting room I had a nice conversation with a man who I ended up giving him a good tip on some home maintenance fix for water leaks! So I think I was supposed to be there at that time anyway! And then they were able to reschedule for that afternoon which was even better for me. So a win win situation!“

“I have been seeing Dr Sobell for many years. Typically I see him for a skin check but as time has gone by I've seen him for more complicated issues such as melasma and potential skin cancer. He has always been incredibly pleasant, thorough and patient. He has a wonderful bedside manner and I feel seen and heard under his care. I had a suspicious mole on my face and the nurse squeezed me in just to have him review it. The office is always busy and it can be confusing to find the right office, there are several offices in the same bldg but I have no complaints. The staff has always been kind and respectful.“
