“My daughter, who is autistic, and I were in dire need of a haircut and last Wednesday (my birthday) I’d scheduled us at a nearby chain and made certain to share with the woman that my daughter had a lot of curls. When we arrived one woman took me right away (she did a great job) but I could tell that the other woman wasn’t feeling it. She was comporting herself in a negative manner towards my daughter and I could tell she wasn’t feeling it. So I paid for my service and we left. It’s fine, no harsh feelings. But the poor kid needed a cut (so much hair) with temperatures in the 90’s so I did a local search and found this barber shop and called. I explained the situation briefly and he accepted the appointment just like that.
When we arrived it was apparent immediately this was a vibrant and welcoming environment. My daughter waited about 15 minutes and they did such a wonderful job! No fuss, no complaints… as a matter of fact it was a positive experience and they know how to cut hair. Including my daughter’s very thick coil hair.
We will come here from now on. Thank you.“
