I haven't been able to get back to "Mr. Flattop" for a number of years now after moving out of Massachusetts; but, if you have ever thought about trying a flattop, you need to get to this shop. If you haven't thought about trying a flattop, think about it and get to this shop."Mr. Flattop" wears one himself and can cut them with the absolute best of them. I had the opportunity to get two from him, one more of a longer brushcut style and the other I told him to "cut it short enough so I don't wish I went shorter the next morning", and that he did. Always a receive a perfect military flat top. I am willing to travel over 45 minutes to get to this place. Most of his customers come from even further away to receive their haircuts. Highly recommend this gentleman.

I generally only get a haircut 3-5 times a year and last year this was the only place I went to. As a student, I am extremely grateful for the student discount and the conversation is also excellent. On many occasions I have left with not only a haircut, but with some wisdom that I find meaning in and can apply to other parts of my life. For instance, we are all familiar with the famous saying "Rome wasn't built in a day". Well, that's just one of many wise words my ears have had the fortune of hearing when getting my haircut at Barber Nooks.
