I have a painful medical condition that is managed with over the counter medicine. Prior to surgery, I was unable to take that medicine and was nervous about dealing with the pain. I immediately made an appointment with Chris and despite it being a busy week, he fit me in the following day. He asked many detailed questions and told me what he thought would work best in terms of scheduling the treatments (in order to help best with my medical condition). I have now had 3 appointments and they have been great! I had a lot of trouble sleeping after my surgery and he has been able to help me with that, general relaxation and a few other things as well. I was referred here by a friend of a friend. I have several medical issues and am at wit's end with medical doctors! It was so refreshing to have someone treat me like an whole person and really listen to what I have to say and what's going on with me. I've had all kinds of injections, medications, x-rays, even surgery, yet none of my doctors have been able to help my pain. I've done 3 weeks so far of acupuncture and am already getting relief. The entire process is such a wonderful break from cold, sterile examinations rooms. This place is warm, welcoming and relaxing. It's a beautiful building with great decor. I've been going to Eastern Sun Acupuncture for about 2 months now and absolutely love it! I started going because I was having trouble sleeping and its definitely working - I fell asleep during my acupuncture session last night because I was so relaxed! Chris is fantastic and knowledgeable and and is always willing to explain what he's doing which is especially great for people new to acupuncture such as myself. I am now a true believer in the healing power of acupuncture and would recommend Eastern Sun to anyone.
