I have had an excellent experience here over the past year. I usually see Sophea but Fan and Yao are very good too. I was so happy to find someone who uses as much pressure as needed to really get into the muscles. Because of Sophea, I can move my neck and shoulder much easier. I'm still really stiff but continue to see Sophea to try to feel even better. So it's been a positive experience for me.
***My Very First Google Review***Sophea is A QUEEN and the strongest massage therapist I have ever had. She is so strong she could lift an SUV above her head…FOR HOURS. Her strength combined with her knowledge and skill, is truly invaluable.I cannot even believe my eyes at the complaints regarding her massage pressure. Sophea’s pressure is listed on the website strictly as “deep”. Directly below your selection it states: “The most heavy-handed of the pressures, involves skilled techniques affecting entire muscle groups & can be painful.”It is simply not her fault that people do not read and are too sensitive to “constructive pain” and feel the need to...read full review

Her strength combined with her knowledge and skill, is truly invaluable. I cannot even believe my eyes at the complaints regarding her massage pressure. Sophea's pressure is listed on the website strictly as "deep". It is simply not her fault that people do not read and are too sensitive to "constructive pain" and feel the need to write negative reviews on here. To rid one's self of months/years of chronic pain, you must breeeathe through temporary acute pain. The day after an exercise class or skiing I know how my muscles feel: sore. This is not because I have INJURED them, it is because I have exercised them and they are now recovering. I am 5'5" and 110 lbs. I would also like to note that I am anemic, for all of those complaining about bruising. Don't be crybabies, you guys. Other massage therapists that have claimed to be "firm" or "deep", were medium pressure at best. I am not coming to relax or fall asleep on the table, I am coming to release severe muscle tension. My giant muscle knots are so much better, and I visit her every two weeks. In conclusion, Sophea rules.
