I needed a red cedar 4x4 to replace a rotted porch post on the front of my house. I tried the box stores but everything was garbage. Sudbury Lumber had exactly what I needed at a reasonable price. Now they are not getting rich off of my business but I have bought doors etc. there over the years and was always very satisfied. Highly recommend.

Great quality of lumber & customer service. The business is geared for professional builders and they do their best to be helpful and attentive to homeowner DIY crowd. Very knowledgeable staff, DIYers should go here instead of HD or other big box stores for real advice, just be patient. Remember, price is not everything when doing a project on your own.

We went in to look at Trex decking. The gentleman assisting was both knowledgeable and helpful. He knew we were just looking and he offered several samples we could take home and compare with our house colors.
