I had a replacement septic system installed. I'm very pleased with the quality of the result and with the skill and professionalism of the whole team. They were always ready to explain what was going on and what they needed. They were able & willing to accommodate a number of special requests, too, e.g. to protect certain plants and trees near (but outside) the area they had to tear up. I'm particularly impressed with how they made it work despite ledge that's just one to two feet down for much of my lot and which forced a major change in the position of the tanks. Apparently that was all in a day's work for Curtis Septic.
Curtis did a Title V inspection for us, at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, it failed, but it's an old system. The inspector explained everything that was wrong, and what we needed to do to repair/replace the system. Andy Curtis followed up with a detailed explanation by phone and detailed information about the inspection process, results, and what we needed to do going forward.
We found Curtis Septic Service to be very professional and good to work with: answered questions quickly and clearly and the teams sent to do the job worked well together and were thorough and efficient. It was a big, long job – a new Presby system to replace our old, failed, 60 yr old traditional system.
The system was installed in March 2025. There was a lot of tree work and plumbing that had to be coordinated immediately before and during installation. All went smoothly. There was one significant misunderstanding about the placement of the vent pipe, and Curtis corrected that quickly and professionally.
