Great experience getting in quickly after my surprise engagement! They were so accommodating and helpful. Super spa like experience with hot stones included in every pedicure and excellent attention to detail with my nails. 10/10
I was excited to try a new nail place (my usual place, Tranquil Nails, was closed that day) and checked out a few reviewed on Yelp. I selected New England Nail and Spa in Weymouth. They had many good reviews, and I expected I would be able to also write a good review. But I cannot. Unfortunately, I will never go back! The place was clean, my nails look good, they took me quickly as a walk-in and people were nice. But the woman who did my nails cut the sh** out of my cuticles ! It's now 4 days later and I am still in pain. I had to put Neosporin and bandaids on at night. Obviously, I didn't want to cover them up with bandaids during the day!! I don't know what they call the "drill" thing they use, but she cut me on eight fingers with that and the "fat" file. She knows she did this because she used pieces of cotton to stop the bleeding and put on astringent. She never once asked if she was hurting me (despite my intakes of breath) nor apologized. I had a dip with two little flowers on my ring fingers and it was $55! I thought this was a lot. I had acrylics for years when I was younger and only stopped when my nails needed time to "rest". I know dip is supposed to last longer and not be as bad for my nails, but at least I feel the acrylic fills were reasonably priced. This tech said they would last 3 weeks and they don't fill them - just do the whole process over again. I know I could not afford $55 + tip every 3 weeks nor would I be able to withstand the pain! ! (I have always had a high tolerance of pain, but this is still painful days later and on a few there was dried blood!) I have to use my hands daily at work and do not have time for pain! I also don't like when salons use the same dip pot for all customers instead of putting some in a smaller individual pot. I have read this practice is very unsanitary and can cause infections from some one else's nails. So I am continuing my search for the perfect nail salon. ( I do like Tranquil Nails, but they were closed that day)
Lannie did an amazing job on my nails! I am super satisfied with this place. She did an amazing job and made sure that all of my acrylic nails were even. She even did three coats of nail polish! Prices are amazing too.Services: Acrylic nails
