I know most people are, but I tend to have the water works turn on no matter how hard I try to suppress them, or have panic attacks as soon as I see needles. It can be embarrassing and frustrating, but I’ve been trying my best to overcome this irrational fear. I feel extremely lucky to have received the kindness, patience and understanding that the staff here have afforded me. If it weren’t for them, I don’t know that I’d have the courage to go at all. My dentist and the handful of dental assistants I’ve met have been nothing short of sweet and supportive. It makes every bit of difference.. If you’re going into your appointment afraid, just let them know and they’ll do their best to make you more comfortable!“
