As a first time dog owner, I was anxious about where to start with training. When I heard about Zen Dog Training and saw they had a puppy class, I knew it was the right fit for my new puppy and me. Pete has been our instructor and he's been great! He's super patient with answering questions and gives helpful feedback when we show him what we've been practicing. I was definitely overwhelmed having a new puppy, but it was reassuring to know that each week if I worked on the homework with my puppy that we'd improve. We have a very stubborn bernedoodle who is deep in her teenage phase and Neil has been a total lifesaver. He helped us get our lives (and sanity) back and always gives us the right training techniques. we can't recommend Neil enough!!!

I can’t say enough about Pete. He is exceptional with our anxious rescue. He quickly earned her trust and has helped to socialize her on walks and with other dogs. He genuinely loves dogs and is very knowledgeable and patient, taking his time to get to know them and provide insight into their individual needs, preferences and behaviors.
