Long story short: My best experience with any electrician has been with Jim of JDO Electric.
On Saturday, July 5th of the holiday weekend, my home’s electrical system started to fail. Some outlets worked, others were completely out, and a few flickered on and off—creating a strange and somewhat frightening situation that needed immediate attention. Jim and his co-worker at JDO did a great job with my electrical work. I wanted to bring my condo unit up to code and requested: (1) GFCI receptacle and breaker installation in kitchen and bathrooms (2) Dryer 4-prong receptacle, (3) removal of jerry-rigged receptacle. As a layman, I really appreciated the in-depth explanation and time provided to help me understand the scope of work and options to compromise cost and expediency. Additionally, he cleaned up any shavings left on the floor and secured the dryer plug receptacle better than it was before. He didn't have to do that, but as new owners, we really appreciate the extra effort. We hope to us JDO electric again... read full review

Jim and his team were professional, easy to work with, and did a great job on a handful of small projects we'd accumulated. We're happy to recommend them and would call them again for any needs at our home.
