Went here today for the first time. I was pretty nervous due to the reviews I've seen, but decided to give it a chance. I asked for a simple one color, with hearts on each of the nails.I was initially disappointed in the removal of the dip I had on my finger nails as the acetone wasn't left on for more than a few minutes, and barely took any of it off, so she drilled it down which was a bit painful. I, as I think many would agree, like to have ALL the previous dip product taken off my nail before getting a new set. Probably the best place in the neighborhood to do your nails. Spa pedicure is definitely the best! They rub, scrub, polish and the massage chair is wonderful. With manicure it depends on who you’ll get. I had a very decent ones and not so great ones too. But overall I like this place. They also gave away some Christmas presents yesterday, was very a sweet touch! And the festive decorations looked amazing ❄️

Came here a few times but decided to stop. Last time I went here I booked an appointment with Sam and was told as I checked in at the desk that they were giving me someone else because Sam “doesn’t do males.” I thought this was an absolutely bizarre rule for a nail tech to have and have never heard of another one having a rule like that. It was also incredibly rude considering I’m not a man and, considering how queer friendly Somerville is supposed to be, it’s extra strange for a business in this city to say something like that.
