I recently had the pleasure of working with Artworx for my wedding, and myself and my entire wedding party agreed we have never looked better!! From the initial hair and make up trial I felt so comfortable and like I had known these ladies forever. They are so kind, patient and talented! Kristen and Tracy truly made me feel like a stunning bride. On the wedding day, they arrived promptly and worked seamlessly, ensuring that I was ready on time and looking flawless. The hair and makeup were nothing short of perfection. My look was both elegant and timeless, and it lasted beautifully throughout the entire day, way way into the night. I can’t recommend Artworx enough to any bride looking for exceptional service and beautiful results. They played a significant role in making me feel confident and beautiful on one of the most important days of my life. Thank you for helping make my wedding day so special!

Thieves! Erin was to do the hair and makeup of my fiance for our wedding which had to be canceled because of state regulations on event size due to COVID-19. We paid in full in advance as a discount was offered if we did so. After our cancellation, she said she was keeping the initial $200 deposit but refunding the rest (honestly she should refund the total as it's beyond our control but whatever). After promising a refund, she has gone radio silent, no replies to our many follow up requests asking where the refund is. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR ANYTHING. There are plenty of good small local businesses that you can support, ones that respect their customers and care about their own reputation enough to provide good service and do the right thing (they should be refunding us in FULL at this point but we've gotten nothing). They essentially stole $700 from us, and throughout the process her communication was abysmal (like pulling teeth getting her to respond to a simple email or voicemail). Update: now she's playing the "everyone's hurting" card saying she was traveling (I don't care) and that she needs to calculate our refund (it's a simple calculation) and threatening to keep additional previously refundable funds.

I booked hair and makeup services for my wedding back in early March, before the virus hit. I paid for all services in full up front, including wedding party, in order to receive a 10% discount. Over the course of 6 months, I have had a very difficult time getting in touch with Erin to communicate changes and schedule a trial. I am not local so it is not easy to schedule and it was almost impossible to get an answer confirming a date. On the week before my trial, we found out we had to cancel our wedding due to restrictions and I reached out immediately to let her know and request a refund. I've called and emailed countless times and have only received one response saying she would look into it. That was 2 weeks ago. I've tried emailing 5 more times since then and called, only to get voicemail. This is a terrible way to treat clients, especially in a time when brides are stressed and struggling with all of the changes due to the pandemic. It is very unprofessional. I want my money!

I enjoyed working with Erin, she is very warm and has great energy. I was not happy with my wedding day hair for a few reasons. I found out 2 weeks before my wedding that Erin had a second wedding that day, and would be leaving us at 12pm, my photos were not until several hours later, and my ceremony was not until 6:30pm. My curls started to fall out after she had already left, and her assistant tried to fix them. There was a clear difference in the curls that were fixed vs how they looked originally, and the hairspray was different and made my hair look greasy. Later in the day, my planner was able to get Erin to come back to fix up my hair, at which point the bobby pins were coming loose. The style overall was not what I originally wanted (hair down), but Erin insisted I change due to wind (down/pinned to the side), and I was not happy with it, as my hair looked like it was tied back in all of my photo angles and I later found out that the wind forecast was actually ok for the afternoon.
