Coming to Texture is like hanging out with friends. John and Natashia are so warm and welcoming. The décor vibe is modern, clean, with great music that makes you feel like you're on vacation! John is a Boston-trained professional who we're lucky to have here in Salem. John's cut, color, and blow dry are always amazing. And, Natasha treats you as if you're the most important person on Earth! I highly recommend Texture salon.
As a Latina with coiled curls, I’ve spent the majority of my life visiting Dominican owned hair salons, setting my hair in rollers blowing it out in the winter months, keeping it curly in the summer. A process that was both lengthy and exhausting because I struggled with the humidity keeping it straight and moisturized when curly. Not sure what I was doing wrong and desperately needed a change. Just happened to stumble upon Texture Salon and the experience has been life changing. John and Natasha were very kind and helpful. I had booked a curly consult before a cut because my hair is on the wavy side and I wasn’t sure I ‘qualified’ for a curly cut! ? Nonetheless they were both welcoming and I had a great experience.
My hair was cut and styled by Natasha. She walked me through each step of the process to make sure I could repeat the steps at home. I went in for a trim/first time curly cut. She helped me get the shape I wanted and my curls were lovely and more shapely than ever. 10/10 :)
