I'm writing to share my incredibly positive experience at South Shore Sports. Having visited numerous physical therapy clinics over the years, I can confidently say this one stands apart. My experience with Gary, Amy, and Neil was truly exceptional. Their expertise is evident, not only in their highly effective treatment techniques, but also in their commitment to patient education and guidance.
They didn't just treat my injury; they empowered me to understand the recovery process fully. They provided clear explanations, practical advice for home exercises, and ongoing support to ensure I was following the best path toward a complete recovery. Physical therapy, as they emphasized, isn't a quick fix; it's a journey that requires active participation and commitment from the patient. Their dedication to fostering this understanding was invaluable.
What truly sets this practice apart is the palpable passion and compassion of the entire team. The positive and energetic atmosphere created by Gary, Amy, and Neil made each session not just productive, but also uplifting and encouraging. Their genuine care and dedication far exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend their services.

After multiple major knee reconstructions, I was starting to feel like I would never be able to get back to doing the things that I love but working with the folks at South Shore Sports Therapy has been extremely motivating. Gary's knowledge of the body's function and its mechanics is very impressive. His ability to tweak certain exercises and introduce new exercises in order to target and correct tightness / weakness / pain never ceases to amaze me.
After working with countless PTs and rehab specialists over the last 10 years, I can confidently say that Gary and the folks at SS Sports Therapy are some of the best around.

I can only rate the facility based on multiple experiences with Travis Schoen.
Travis has helped me recover from multiple issues (broken ankle twice, meniscus surgery, back issues and shoulder issues).
Travis has taken me from what I thought were pretty grim situations to total rehabilitation without any further follow-on issues.
He has an outstanding bedside manner and an expert command of how to restore flexibility and range of motion.
The facility is clean, the staff are pleasant and professional.
I highly recommend

Helped me to address foundational issues with my movement, strengthen my muscles to help stabilize my joints, and prevent wear and tear. I learned to activate new muscles and find activities are easier now. Routine strength training at least twice per week is such an important part of a healthy lifestyle to maintain muscle and bone density as we age. They showed me how to modify exercises and work within my limitations. I have a lot less pain now, I’m much less prone to overuse injuries, and I can still do all the activities I love

Totally unfriendly staff. They've messed up my appointment and not even apologetic about it. They are neither ready to accept their mistake, nor ready to correct\help. Terrible people..Update: Just saw a reply from South shore sports therapy that I reviewed them by mistake, as I'm not their patient. What a joke !! My negative review is mostly about the behavior of the staff and now this response is summarizing their ignorance. In fact, I had 10+ physio sessions in their Weymouth facility with Mr. Travis, though it didn't help in anyway. May be worth another review. Attaching my timeline which confirms my visit from couple of months before. Stop acting smart, it isn't the smartest thing.

I have suffered lots of sports related injuries, been treated by lots of different PTs. I always got only fair results until I was treated at South Shore Sports therapy four years ago.A very thorough examination process (1.5 hour) + consistent expert treatments= excellent results! My lower back has been asymptomatic for the longest stretch of time since disc surgery 28 years ago. I do the advised (30 min.) exercises 3x week. Every person ( 10+) I have referred to this practice has been extremely pleased.Bad reviews are bogus.(One was from a person who was never treated there.)

Very clean and well run the Sellitti. Dom and his team worked wonders for the second time in a year. Would recommend to anyone.

called to visit the facility but was told either I make an apointment to be charged my insurance or I could just come by but everyone is usually busy and no one would be able to talk to me. At this point I am just scouting out which facility would be in my best interest. Very rude and not customer service oriented

The therapists are great. My surgeon likes a P.T. here who works with ACL reconstructions. Working with lady to see if WC case approved isn't pleasant. Feels like customer service not her best skill.
