Maggie is the best! She just knows where the knots are and gets rid of them all! My favorite hour of every month. I have had hundreds of massages and have extreme pain and tightness in my shoulders and upper back. NO ONE has ever given me the relief that I get from Maggie. She is truly amazing!!

Working as an EMT I do a ton of lifting (stair chairs down flights of stairs, lifting and loading the stretcher 10-20 times a day for 3-4 days a week) so my upper back pain is excruciating. Maggie was INCREDIBLE and worked out so many knots in my back I feel like heaven now. Will definitely be coming on a more consistent basis now that I found her!

Maggie is an outstanding massage therapist. She performs thorough bodywork, operates to your level of comfort, and is simply a pleasant person.

The best massage I've ever had! Totally worth the time and cost. I received this as a gift and booked an appt for a Swedish massage out of obligation. I will be returning and plan to make this more of a routine. My massage therapist knew where all my stress and muscle tension was and took extra care to target all those areas. Left feeling so refreshed and rejuvenated. Facilities are very clean and staff was taking every precaution for infection control. Plenty of street parking. Highly recommend.

I have been here on and off for several years for Accupuncture. Friendly and helpful front desk and Robin is not only amazing in her knowledge and skill for Accupuncture but also a wonderful human and makes you feel so comfortable as a client.

Thank God for a Groupon. PROS Conveniently located minutes from the T Friendly employees Great deal (if you get a Groupon for two people) The room was stiflingly warm which is what I like. Scheduling was easy. CONS I didn't feel like I got a massage. I filled out a form and chose "hard" but I left there feeling exactly the same. Was he afraid to hurt me? No idea. He asked midway through if I was okay and I told him he could apply more pressure and, again, I felt nothing. Bummer. Nice people, but definitely a weak massage.

I'm a very active person...I do aerial workout (lyra/pole) and I run OCR (Spartan races). I've been to numerous massage therapists that I even lost count...one time I tried 6 therapists in a month. But after my appointment with Maggie, I called and cancel the rest of my appointments with other therapists cause I found "The One". Maggie is simply amazing. I've been to her for a year now and I have to say she never repeat the same massage. Maggie can feel the tightness on my muscle, I don't even need to tell her where I'm hurting...she's that good. Right after I ran a Spartan Beast (10 hours race), I could barely walk the next day, I literally walked into her office with tears in my eyes...2 hours later (i double booked knowing i needed it) I could walk with manageable DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) and I recovered 100% more than a week before any of my friends. And not to mention all my other injuries from hamstring tightness to hip sprain...I always feel better immediately afterwards and recover faster after I've seen Maggie. Just an FYI - Her style is more a mixture of trigger points and relaxing massage. Back then I always prefer male therapists because of their strength, but now I realized its not how hard you massage the spot but where. Maggie is extremely knowledgeable on how muscle and tendon works, on some area, she doesn't need to massage very hard and I could feel the tension relieve already. Now both me and my husband are regulars...I don't think I can every do any of my sports without Maggie's help.

I have been visiting the Professionals at this office for several years now. I am a New Yorker and travel extensively, and at least monthly I travel to the Boston area for a week at a time. Traveling to this office to get massage and acupuncture therapy keeps me healthy and limber. In my travels I have not visited any practice which can compare to New England Muscular Therapy. This place is a diamond in the rough. Five years ago, I guess from working too much and not being as active as I used to in my younger days my muscles in my back began to spasm. I also did not have as much energy as I thought I should. Immediately, on my first visit I could tell the style of massage was different than I was used to and only after a couple of visits I noticed a difference. I decided to mix acupuncture with the massage treatments and my energy levels and spasms disappeared. My golf swing is smoother and after a day of skiing I am not even sore. Thank you New England Muscular Therapy for truly changing my life.

I bought a groupon for New England Muscular Therapy and I have been calling them several days to schedule an appointment. Noone picks up the phone. I left a VM but no one has called me back. If they can't even get the basics covered don't run a business!!

I went to this place around 6 months ago. I used a Groupon so the price was pretty okay. When I first came in, the girl working in the front desk handed me a form to fill out. She was bland and I could tell she does not have much passion working there. I ended up knowing she's actually the owner's daughter. After waiting for a while, my therapist came out to greet me. Holy cow he's a guy! My monologue at that moment was "I am not ready yet to strip naked in front of a guy other than my fiance"! So of course that was very embarrassing and awkward.... When I am nervous, my Chinese accent automatically kicks in. I spoke in an almost trembling voice and asked if I could change to a female therapist. The guy was very nice and said he did not know this but did not want to make me feel uncomfortable. But his daughter, again, questioned why I did not tell them at the first place. I explained that I did not know and that was my first time getting a massage in America. Of course her reaction on her face was "why you so d*** foreigner???" So the nice guy mentioned earlier managed to find me a female Asian therapist. I went in for the business. The massage was okay not great so to speak. I don't want to complain about the massage here because it was not bad. Like all other massages, this one ends earlier than I expected. When I walked out, half conscious and half dizzy, and told the daughter that the massage was not even an hour and it was like 50 mins. She insisted that I went in 10 mins before the clock. I admit that I did go into 10 mins before the cock but that therapist did not come in until like 15 mins later. Ok fine fine 50 mins is fine. Just f****** let me go then. The daughter stopped me when I was about to leave and ask if I want to leave any tip for the therapist. I suddenly realized that the only cash with me was 2 dollars. I said sorry I did not know I have to tip. Again, the daughter gave the dirtiest look on her face. Her look tells me that how should I not know this. I feel she's telling me that this place does not welcome people like me if I don't know about tipping. Okay... enough is enough... no matter how great the massage is, I am not going back to face with the daughter again. I deserve better attitude that hers.
