Lauren has been so thorough with each appointment and the office staff is always very kind. Easy to make quick appointments compared to Offices in Boston. Highly recommend this practice!

Very disappointing, I've been calling the office all day to make an appointment, noone has answered all day! And the answering service wasn't able to give me a proper answer either.

I just got off the phone with the receptionist at this practice. I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant and noticed a raised mole that I have questions about. I called him to see the first availability to come in and have this examined. The scheduler told me that all providers were on vacation this week. I asked what provider had the soonest availability. She told me the provider that I saw in the past has availability in a few weeks. I simply said “does anyone else have any available appointments before this”- To what she said “ Honey, we’re a small practice. That’s not how it works here”- In the most dismissive, disgusting tone. I work in healthcare. I would be appalled if these were the people that answering the phone for my patients. Safe to say, I am looking for a new provider and will not be returning here

DEC 2025 REVIEW: If I could just leave a review for Dermatology PA Lauren, I'd give her 100 stars and then some. She is the only person in my whole life who listened and helped me with my skin. Unfortunately everyone BUT Lauren at this practice is extremely ineffective at their jobs and angry/argumentative. Whether it is the scheduling team not having a simple voicemail set up nor any way to message your doctor after hours, then shaming you for missing a medication management login email sent in the middle of your law school finals; to Meagan McCrea the physician assistant who gaslit me for about a YEAR claiming her medications, which I had been on at least 3 other times in life with NO visible benefit were in fact working when it was obvious they weren't. It is just such a shame that dermatology is such a limited practice and these assistants and office managers can be pro-power trip/anti-patient all the time. If I did not desperately need the treatment I would LOVE to go elsewhere, it's just impossible to get in all places. Lauren + her direct team = 10 stars, everyone else in this practice 1 star.

    UPDATE -- JAN 2026
While interning in another state to finish law school I needed this practice to send my records to my new doctor. I called to make the request. They told me I had to EITHER PHYSICALLY come to the office to fill out a paper form OR find a literal fax machine to FAX a request to them for medical records transfer. Seriously?!? This practice is a joke and I will not return. They lost me as a customer today due to the rude and power-tripping receptionists. The office managers pretend to hide behind HIPPA compliance but there is no excuse for a medical office in 2026 to NOT have a secured messaging system or literally ANY way at all to send requests or messages during lunch and non-business hours. Apparently Adams St Dermatology is hoping to serve 100% housewife clientele since their staff quickly gets argumentative if you are trying to juggle a demanding job. Really hope Lauren finds a better home at a more modern and competently run dermatology practice.

I was moments away from being a patient here, but the office staff and communications have turned me all the way off. I scheduled an appointment with Lauren, and they sent me over paperwork, etc. then, one day I get three calls back to back with no voicemail. That is insane behavior for a doctors office.

I finally get through to them and they say my primary is not my primary. Turns out they called the entirely wrong office. I get a call from my primary and the PA isn’t even in network. So after the three call debacle I just decide to cancel. I call to cancel and I say “I think it’s on this day” and the person on the line goes “well I know it’s not on that day” incredibly sassy. I tell her the reason, and she says “uhhhh yeah she takes your insurance. Do you still want to cancel? And I say “yes” and begin another sentence and she immediately hangs up on me.

I call back to the operator to leave some feedback and the operator was so disrespectful and didn’t even care. I was suprised when they had immediate availability, now I know why! I’d rather wait a year for my nice derm 😂

I recently had my skin checkup at Adams St. Dermatology. I found the administrative staff professional and helpful. The medical assistant was kind, efficient and helpful. Lauren examined me, explained everything well and did treatments and biopsies with care and concern. I am very happy with the care I received there.
