It’s been a wonderful experience with Amedisys Home Health Care. Both Andrew and Allison did a great job helping me recovering after knee replacement surgery. I have no complaints at all. They did everything they could to help me go back walking and doing all the exercises. Gabby was my home physical therapist after my knee surgery. I was unable to get into the VA PT for two months due to there schedule. When my PT started in the VA they said I was way ahead on the progress with the range of ability of my knee thanks to the great home PT. Gabby was always pleasant and made my knee recovery easier. Amedisys is a first class organization, they really care about their patients. The meeting with Jim McNamara was so reassuring that we would get through this together. He told me he was there for me 24-7 and he ment it. We went over all my meds, when and how to take them. Jim explained that they were prescribed for a reason, to make me comfortable during my recovery period. He gave me some light exercises to do to straighten my back muscles. Jim offered an adjustment to pain meds so I could sleep through the night and then called me 3 days later to check and see how I was doing.
