If zero stars was available I would give that. There is no compassion from anyone who works there. They will be rude when you call no matter how tragic the situation you’re dealing with is. These are rotten people who couldn’t care less about the pain you and your pet are going through. Dr. Rockwood is great, but to get to the doctor you have to get through the worst people imaginable. These people can’t even fake compassion. Worst animal hospital ever, take your pet anywhere else.

Dr Rockwood took the time to listen to all of my concerns and address each one. We came up with a game plan to help my dog taking into consideration all of his health factors. You can tell she truly cares for your pet!

We have been using PAH for 34 years and from the front desk personnel to the tech assistants to the Dr.’s, they are excellent. Providing professional care with caring. A unique combination in today’s world. On a scale of 1-10, they are an 11!

I've been going to Pembroke Animal Hospital for 20 years and have seen a number of different vets there. Dr T is the owner and I see her for all my cats. She is thorough and very sweet and gentle when handling my cats. She knows what's she's talking about too and she's right on cue with diagnoses. The other thing too is they don't do unnecessary testing like a lot of other hospitals do. I've asked if they needed X-rays or other tests and they've said no not right now, or that wouldn't tell us anything. I've been to other vets that have done a slew of unnecessary tests just for the money.
The vet techs are excellent also. Very knowledgeable and are there for you. If you leave them a message, they will call you back within minutes. The staff working the desk are always very sweet, kind and helpful and will do anything to try to accommodate you.
I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I can't say enough good things about PAH. I've been bringing my animals here for many years and the staff consistently go above and beyond. I've worked most recently with Dr Rockwood and Dr Crowley, both of whom were incredibly helpful and compassionate in treating my two older cats with various health issues and then helping them cross the rainbow bridge with dignity. The whole time I felt supported in making difficult decisions while being given all available options. The techs and desk staff have all also been very kind and skilled in their work. I am looking forward to bringing them younger, healthier animals again soon.
