Great haircut and great conversation. After talking about my military service and heading back to Japan tomorrow, he insisted on no charge. Been here years ago and will definitely come back again when I’m back in town.

My husband went and got his haircut from Mikey when we were in town from Okinawa. He said "Great haircut and great conversation. After talking a bit about my military service and heading back to Japan, he graciously cut my hair free of charge. Class act, will get my hair cut here again next time I am in town to visit family."

Gene is a great barber. He is kind and friendly. His shop has been updated. The sinks and tables are all new and sparking clean. People from all walks of life feel comfortable and bring their business there. I had a friendly conversation with a local policeman.
