My daughter's college laptop stopped working. J tried to save it but finally understood that the motherboard was dead, likely due to overheating. We bought a new laptop and he helped us transfer the files into the new one. The fee was very reasonable.

I had the best experience with PC Mania. The owner is very knowledgeable and experienced. He listens well, then recommends several alternative ways to fix the problem. If he cannot fix it, he will honestly tell you. I have taken my two laptops and my PC to him for repair and maintenance, and had no issue since they got fixed. I strongly recommend him to anyone who needs PC or laptop to be repaired.

A dying breed. Knowledgable, reasonable prices, no fuss, no hard sell. It's a shame here aren't more businesses like this. The guy knows his stuff - he was navigating like a pro on my 2005(!) lap top which he probably doesn't see too much of. Funny and polite - the personal touch of a mom and pop. He had the cord I needed and he didn't over charge like these monopoly chain stores. And I was in and out in 5 minutes. I would recommend PC Mania to anyone who has no interest in getting hassled.
