PLEASE READ. So I have half a mind to put the Drs name in here but I won’t for now. How would I describe the service at Atrius health ? Awful. You have a sick loved one at home maybe a child to take care of and need FMLA to help them? Well don’t come here. They’ll tell you 1-2 days and then day 4 you call for an update and “it was sent to DR ____ for further review cool that’s a week and half later and now my claim is denied and I have to restart. I need some accountability here, is this the only job that doesn’t have to do anything until they want too? Your job sure wants things done in a timely manner my job does but for Drs? Nah it’s okay they’ll get it when they feel like it maybe? Peoples lives matter a for these people to just continue to ignore the request to fill out ONE FORM in under a week I’m disgusted. Do not come here. OH UPDATE after I pushed the issue to the supervisor. They were able to sign the paper and send it over in a matter of minutes. MINUTES. I told them we where told a deadline and they said “well that person doesn’t work on site” SO JUST KNOW ATRIUS HEALTH IS ALLOWING UNQUALIFIED PEOPLE TO GIVE DEADLINE AND DATES EVEN WHEN THEY HAVE NO ODEA WHATS GOING ON. I was just told this. Read this and do as you please with your choices but this will be how you’re treated and this is how much they DO NOT CARE. (UPDATE): the paper work had been signed for 4 days already and EVEN THOUGH WEVE REACHED OUT AND CALLED THEY CONTINUED TO NOT SEND IT AND IGNORE DOING SO UNTILL I PUSHED THE ISSUE TO A SUPERVISOR. They will help you and get stuff done only when you make them do their job if that’s the kind of doctors office you want worrying about your health then that’s on you but they won’t care about you or your family just know that.

This place is clean and busy. Ample parking with wheelchair spots and the building is wheelchair accessible including the bathrooms. Elevators are available for all floors and are W/C accessible. The staff are excellent, with various specialties, and those not available here are usually available at Atrius Dedham. There is a lab but no pharmacy. There is limited urgent care..

Don’t go here if you want to avoid unusually high bill for basic services. Charged 529$ for a routine pregnancy office visit, in addition to huge seperate bill for labs. They charge twice for ultrasound - one for abdomen, one for vaginal because they dint see anything in abdominal. Also, they bill after six months of service performed. Until then you are not even aware of bills you are gonna get.

My PCP received moved over to Atrius! Had to see a covering doctor for the day…. Dr. Higgins! Highly recommend , he was fantastic. Felt like he really understood me and my needs at the time and was very compassionate.

I ended up here when Compass Medical closed down since my PCP moved here. My original PCP is retired now, and my other PCP has been good along with the other doctors I've seen. Recently I had wrist pain, so I set up an appointment with my old orthopedic surgeon since the pain felt like it was related. I reached out to Atrius to get a referral so my insurance would cover my new appointment. Atrius contacted me and told me that I needed to schedule an appointment with my PCP to get the orthopedic referral outside of the Atrius network, so I took an hour and a half out of my busy work day to go to my PCP office, and they sent in the referral for me. A couple days later I check in to see what the status of the referral was, and they couldn't answer me so they told me they would get someone to call back. They never called me back so the next day (the day before my orthopedic appointment) I reached back out, and they actually did get someone to call me back this time. I was told that they couldn't give me the referral because I had an HMO, so I reached out to my insurance and they told me that the doctor I wanted to see is in network, so it is up to my PCP to give me the referral. I called Atrius back up and they told me they would get a supervisor to call me, but they never did so now I am going to have to reschedule my appointment.
Long story short, Atrius prioritized having an extra visit in their network and more money in their pocket over letting me receive better care from a doctor with knowledge of my history. I question whether this is even legal. This is not a medical group that I want to be part of, I will search for a PCP outside of the Atrius group who actually cares about my health.

Their support staff, especially at the intake and phones are horrible. Rude and downright unpleasant. Love the doctors, can’t tolerate the front staff.

Beware, office will attempt to bill you for service is not performed to scam you out of hundreds of dollars or more. Find another provider.
Copy paste customer service, as seen below, is all they offer. I’ve called and emailed and received no response. You have been warned.
