I took my 7 month old pup for an evaluation in May and was told he was 'too social' whatever that means, and was told they didn't have room in their 'program' for him. He is high energy but very submissive with other dogs. They then said I should bring him for training at their other location and that maybe they would reconsider at another time. Mind you, you can easily spend over $1000 at their training location. And, I had been taking my dog for training, he knew basic commands. AF&H used to be a great place under the OLD ownership. New ownership has made changes that are NOT customer friendly. Now you can't drop you dog off before 12 noon for boarding on Saturday and no longer lets you pick up your dog on Sundays because they want you to pay the extra $50 a day boarding fee. Short sighted for sure. All this will do is anger customers. Is so sad because because this business used to be great. Now not even close.
