If I could give zero stars, I would. This shop took a bridal gown for alterations months ago for a September 3rd wedding. The final fitting was scheduled for the end of July with pickup for the gown at the beginning of August. At some point during that time, the owner (and only tailor) went on vacation. The shop assistant called and rescheduled the fitting for the beginning of August, promising a mid-August date of completion. At the beginning of August, The shop called again to move the date of the fitting to August 20th, promising that the gown would completed August 27th. Today, August 19th, two weeks before the wedding, the shop reschedules again for the final fitting on August 27th, commenting that they *hope* the dress will be ready for the wedding. This tailor not only left a bride high and dry 14 days before her wedding, she also caused damage to the dress! I don't even have appropriate words for that sort of irresponsible running of a business, never mind a business so crucial to a one-day event. All of this because supposedly, the tailor is on vacation and can't seem to make it back. When I call to get a proper explanation, the shop assistant chose instead to yell at me, telling me she only makes minimum wage and doesn't need this kind of stress in her life. Do not use this Tailor.
Amazing, fast service, reasonably priced! I had my wedding dress altered for my July wedding and so much attention was paid to each and every detail. I felt secure and absolutely amazing in my dress. Would recommend Kathys to anyone!
Kathy's Tailoring was incredible in working with me on my wedding dress. I came to her with only a few weeks before my wedding (postponed due to the pandemic). She was so easy to talk to about my vision for my dress, and very transparent about the whole process. Each fitting went extremely well, and she made both of our masks as a lovely gift from her. I also got my wedding dress dry cleaned as well, and this was super speedy as well! I highly recommend Kathy's Tailoring!!
