I am 66 years old and had severe myopia for many years; my regular plastic eye glass lenses were over a 1/4 inch thick and even high-index plastic lenses were almost a 1/4 inch thick. I had developed cataracts over the past few years, and my eyesight was getting worse and worse yearly. I looked on the web for cataract surgeons and came across the Balin Eye and Laser Center. I liked what I saw on the web site and decided to have Dr. Nancy Balin perform the surgery. The next morning after the surgery I looked down the street from my house and everything looked clear and bright, and I could easily see the street name on the street sign down on the corner with all the letters being crisp and detailed. I am totally amazed at how well I see now and do not need glasses for distant vision. I do use reading glasses for reading and computer work. It is really like a miracle how well I can see now. I’m 3 weeks out from my Lasik and so happy I finally did it. Dr Balin and ALL the staff were supper helpful and there to ease any concerns. During the procedure Dr Balin walked me through every step which was comforting. I highly recommend Balin Eye & Laser Center, wish I did it sooner☺️
