Winter Hill performed a re-siding job on my 1930's home. It was a huge project that included removing three layers of existing siding, applying home wrap, applying new siding, trim and gutters, among other things.They were fantastic from start to finish. The foreperson was on top of every detail.My only advice for someone looking to use them for a siding job: since they do not provide an electrician for major electrical stuff (i.e. National Grid, Solar Energy, etc.), they require the customer to do quite a bit of "project management" as far as arranging either getting sleeves put on power lines or getting the power turned off while crews are working in that area. I contracted with Winter Hill to replace the clapboards, wood trim around my windows and house wrap on the front of my house. Many of the old clapboards were soft and cracked and were unattractive from previous neglect. In addition, one of the windows leaked and we were hoping this renovation would fix that. Winter Hill came out and provided a detailed written estimate. The job was delayed about 2 months because of supply problems getting the cedar clapboards but that was not something that was in their control. Once the clapboards were in, the job was scheduled. It went very smooth, the team was both professional and prompt even when working in very narrow conditions. We were always kept up-to-date on timeframes, permit progress and when the team would be arriving. This made it very easy to coordinate.
