My husband and I had a blast with Jared learning our first dance for our zoom wedding this past February. Jared carefully developed a choreography unique to our dance experience (which was pretty nonexistent) that factored in our music choice seamlessly. The actual dance studio is also great - clean, had lots of natural light, and we always had the room to ourselves (which was not the case at our local Arthur Murray Dance studio which were packed with other dancers all sharing the same room).Jared is personable, professional, attentive, and courteous. He was very patient with us when we repeated mistakes (especially when wedding planning stress/nerves were at its height) and employed creative teaching techniques – when one approach didn’t resonate, he would quickly change track to find one that did. Jared made us feel comfortable, confident, and ready for our first big dance as a married couple! I’m so happy that we did this! I’ll forever cherish this time spent together learning something different as a couple and can’t wait to use our various dance moves learned from our first dance at friend’s weddings in the future! I highly recommend Jared to anyone interested in wedding dance lessons or improving their dance techniques! Thank you Jared!

Had a blast in a private session for my sister's bachelorette party. We learned a country line dance with Steel who was very nice to us. Jared was very responsive to my questions setting up the session. Definitely would recommend this to others, you'll have a great time.

Poise, Style, and Motion is a great dance studio for dancers of all levels! I felt very welcomed and comfortable as a new student. I love my instructor and feel challenged to learn more technical skills and new dances! When I expressed interest in competing, the whole studio supported and encouraged me. I would also note it's clear the staff works hard to keep the studio clean.There is a great variety of group lessons and Friday night dance parties in addition to 1x1 private lessons.My only recommendation would be to play more current and more a of a variety of music so it is easier to apply what you learn and so more people me age (20s) would be interested in joining.Definitely give PSM a try! Life should be all about dance!

My husband and I have been taking lessons for over 15 years. We started taking group classes and then graduated to weekly private lessons. We've had so many great instructors and we appreciate the upbeat, welcoming atmosphere. And the humor! We have so much fun and our time there now has become our weekly date night. I can't say enough about this studio and its team, led by Jared, who is not only a great dancer but an all around great guy. I strongly encourage you to give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Poise Style & Motion Ballroom Studio has ranked as the TOP STUDIO since 2014 in the local competitions. This is a prestigious award drawn from all the competitors and studios that enter a competition. What impresses me most is (1) the quality of instruction at all levels, newcomer to advanced;, (2) the learning process that assures success; (3) the dedicated students that persevere to joyfully achieve their goals: wedding, showcase, team dance, social or competition; and lastly, (4) the friendships that develop as a result of partner dancing in daily group classes and at social parties with refreshments held at the studio weekly. I am so proud of my own ribbons as well as training with awards-winning instructors from Poise Style & Motion Ballroom. Visit the studio and check the trophy case. It is testament to my words. It's never too early or too late to express yourself in dance, to enjoy the art of dancing and to participate in the fun so many are experiencing.
