A utility pole owned by us and located on our Cape Cod property was broken during a windstorm in July 2021. The pole supplies power and other utilities to 3 of our adjacent properties. A large pine tree was severed in the windstorm and toppled onto the pole during the storm, causing the pole to break and bringing the wires down onto the ground, interrupting power, telephone, and internet/TV service to all 3 properties. Upon my call to them, Eversource did go to the site and cleared a path to the pole, but they advised that the pole was our responsibility.
