“Seeing as I already have my permit, and have read through the entire Massachusetts drivers manual. I believed that this class would be comepletley useless, and that I would learn nothing. However, the presentations and videos grabbed my attention way more than the plain old black and white drivers manual. My attention was kept almost the entire time, and though I already knew all the laws and rules, I learned a lot, and as now more prepared to get on the road than I was.“
“Alan was wonderful! I highly recommend him. He takes the time and is very patient with new inexperienced drivers. He gave my son the confidence he needed! He also gave me the confidence in my sons driving ability! I highly recommend him for driving lessons and for him to take your child on the road test!“

“5 Years ago I called this company and had my driving lessons done with a wonderful man named Ray. He was so good & taught me very well when I was so scared to drive! He went out his way to make sure I got my driver's license. I would recommend this place for those who can't afford driving school. this company picks you up from your home, and you pick the hours you want to drive, the price at the time was $80.00 don't know now in 2020. Had no issues with the front desk ladyThank you Atlantic driving school & Ray.“
“As a former student of East Coast, I would highly recommend to any parent unsure of where to sign their child up! The course was enjoyable due to Bill's infectious personality, and the driving lessons were smooth (shout out Randy for always being willing to do double lessons with me to get them done quicker!) and left me feeling very confident for my drivers test. It's worth the money when you only have to take the test once to pass!!“
“Edda was very helpful and professional which led to me passing she made sure we went over everything and gave me helpful tips before the test“
“Wouldn’t have been able to pass my test without the guy who taught me. 10/10 would recommend.“
“I'll keep it short and sweet. The instructor is nice, as well as everyone else who had a part in running the place. Students should not stress over whether or not it is difficult. As long as you pay attention and don't goof around, you'll pass. If a student can't learn something a certain way, the instructor will work around it to ensure the student learns.***RI STUDENTS UNDER 18The people working at the RI DMV were not helpful. The process they explained to me is different than the one my instructor explained, and I've emailed the instructor with this new information to prevent confusion for other RI students.Any minor looking to get their permit MUST complete a certain permit test. This specific test must be completed either at CCRI or at the RI DMV itself. I don't know if the CCRI permit test is available to everyone or just people taking the CCRI driver's ed course. However, I can explain the process if you wish to go through only the RI DMV.To get your permit at the RI DMV without going to driver's ed at CCRI, you must first schedule a 2-hour reservation (NO WALK-INS AS OF MAY 2022). They told me to do this through their website. The reservation MUST be the "written/computerized permit test." They told me the test is NOT 2 hours long, they give you a maximum of 2 hours to complete it. Next, you go to the RI DMV, head to the second floor, and head to the check-in area. The security guard at the front door asked for something to identify me, I used my vaccination card. At the check-in area you must provide 3 things.1. The student's driver's ed certificate (Given by instructor at school)2. Proof of residence for the student. If that is not possible, proof of residence for the parent/guardian is required3. The student's birth certificate or passport (I believe they accept something else but I couldn't hear over the people next to me)This is where my RI DMV adventure ended. I assume after this you just take the permit test and then get your permit. I recommend taking the study guide they offer in case there is different material on their test.“
“Truly exceptional! I learned to drive with them, my brother, cousins, neighbors, everyone in our family has come through this school and our children will too! The instructors are the definition of professionalism and really take a lot of pride in what they do. I highly recommend the Teachers Driving Academy!“
“I had Amber as my instructor and I am very grateful for all she’s done to help me. She’s one of the nicest people you’ll meet and always makes sure you are ready for the road. I highly recommend“
