“I had a really good overall experience with East Coast Driving School in Franklin. I chose them after searching locally, and from the start, Donna, who’s been a long-time coordinator there, was fantastic. She walked me through everything in detail—breaking down the costs and explaining the exact requirements, like the 6 hours of observation, 12 hours behind the wheel, and 30 hours of classroom instruction. That kind of clarity was really helpful for me as a parent trying to fit this into my son’s busy 12th-grade schedule.

One challenge is that this driving school is pretty busy (should have more instructors), and you can only book a few lessons at a time, which can stretch the timeline out significantly. But after a few classes, I spoke with Donna about our situation, and she went above and beyond. She found internal slots and coordinated with instructors to schedule the remaining lessons within just a couple of weeks over the holidays, moving our timeline up, from a possible March to Jan mid.

Donna even proactively adjusted pick-up times and locations if she noticed a change was needed, which was a huge help. So while their booking system can be a bit rigid, if you communicate with them, they’re very supportive. Donna and the team really made the process smoother, and I appreciate that a lot.“
