If this unit falls off a truck put it back on. It will cost you more time and money to service this and replace parts than the value of the unit. TERRIBLE customer service and parts warehouse. You will be triggered by the on hold music for the rest of your life as you turn blue and lose digits waiting for this company to take responsibility for their shoddy products. My advice, if you buy this unit make sure and order space heaters at the same time. You’ll need them.
If you want heat in the winter, do NOT buy a product from HTP. My tankless boiler has broken every winter for the past 3 years. They refuse to fix it, or are just incapable, and force you to purchase a replacement product in order to receive the warranty - which they don’t guarantee. You can’t get anyone to help you on the phone, via email, or a single person to care that your pipes are freezing. I’d joyfully join a class action suit against this company if someone asked due to the significant damages that their incredible incompetence has caused to my house.
I would not provide any stars for an HTP ELU boiler! A technician installed the unit in our new house on 12/2020. We have had issues every year that made the tech come back for something. As of last week, error code after error code and technician has been back 3 times. The last troubleshooting step is to replace the main control. I got in touch with Warranty Support and they said that only Tech Support can authorize the replacement of the main control, however, you can't get in touch with them and if you leave your number they will never call back. I'm thinking there is no longer any support for HTP boilers! Stay away from this product as they have NO customer...read full review
