About Needham Pediatrics | Boston Children's Primary Care Alliance
Needham Pediatrics is a primary care pediatric practice located in Needham, Massachusetts, serving patients from birth to 20 years of age. The practice offers a new website with exciting features, including a link to the Children's Hospital Patient Education Library, providing valuable information to help parents care for their children. Although some patients have had good experiences with the practice, there have been concerns about the lack of separation between sick and healthy patients, as well as the practice's approach to vaccination schedules, which some found overly restrictive. Despite these issues, the practice is generally well-regarded, with caring doctors, excellent medical care, and a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, including Dr. Sakakini, Dr. Secala, Dr. Nadar, and nurse practitioner Ally, who have all received positive feedback from patients. The practice is known for its responsiveness, accommodating nature, and strong connections with Boston Children's Hospital, making it a reliable choice for families in the area.
My daughter was a patient here for about 6 months and though we did have some good experiences, we also did not with some of their nurses. They also do not separate their sick patients from everyone else which many offices do so it was frustrating to manage that. When it comes to vaccination schedules for small children, we were given a protocol that yes accommodated us (delaying the hep B vaccine and separating the vaccines out over a longer period of time) but at the same time they created some red tape I think intended to deter us. Overall, the practice is fine but it’s nothing stellar and I would not recommend to friends and family.
Caring doctors, excellent medical care. We had Dr. Sakakini, then Dr. Secala, and now Dr. Nadar. We had to change because doctors left, but fortunately each doctor has been great. Ally, the nurse practitioner, is wonderful too!
Very happy with needham pediatrics over the past years. They are very responsive and always accommodating. They are great for general pediatrics (reminding you to schedule annual physicals, easy portal, connecting in with BCH, etc); + they are great for more extreme (An on-call doctor on a wkd once saved my sons life by recognizing a life threatening illness immediately; and they are great with referrals).
Can’t go wrong either way, and all the physicians top notch!
