Obviously, the content of a drivers class will never be extremely entertaining, but she made learning fun for me. I feel like I completed the class with a now comprehensive education from her and the confidence that I gained the knowledge to be a safe driver. I can’t thank her enough, I loved her! :) - Sofia“

799 S Main St, Bellingham“I had Maria for my driving classes and I saw a lot of improvement from the 1st lesson I had to now. She helped me with every maneuver and showed me the tips to help me. She may be a bit strict but I think this helped me overall because I was able to be more focused and precise on what I was doing. I would recommend this driving school and Maria as an instructor!“

11 Macarthur Rd, Woonsocket“I haven't spoken to or seen Alan in years because of having moved to another state (and pretty much a different time zone), but if you're reading this Alan, I ended up passing my driver's test! It was during the pandemic, and in Texas, but after your driving lessons, amazing amounts of patience with me during my bouts of anxiety on the road and characteristic lack of focus, your always-growing, up-to-date knowledge of road rules and extremely helpful tips (seeing the car's back tires as a rule of thumb for distance during stationary moments was a a huge proponent for me during my final battle with the road test), I began to feel more confidence emerging during my driving. And little by little, I noticed that it was actually knowledge and preparation, though it felt like confidence at first. What I can say is that everybody learns through different methods, and at different paces, but as someone who had been to 3 different instructors prior to Alan and failed the road test four times by the time I started taking lessons from him, his great approach to driving, and ability to adapt to all kinds of situations (when that non-consecutive fleet of fire trucks and ambulances neared us, and you calmly explained to me how to pull over in an area with a heavily-parked sidewalk, and with minimal double parking, I knew that the next time that I faced it the odds were going to be in my favor!). If I had known of AMC Driving School before my first road test, I would've passed on my first try (and his price was so generous in comparison to the other schools that I was hesitant at first, but it wasn't too good to be true, but rather true and absolutely great!), and I couldn't say enough good things about this school or it's instructor, Alan! Thanks to Google, I can't give more than 5 stars, but AMC has merited 6 stars in my book! Thank you for you for everything, Alan, and may your business continue to put great drivers on the road (we could use some of them here in Dallas, honestly), and may you find nothing less than great fortune in your current and future endeavors!!“

170 Pulaski Blvd, Bellingham“I'll keep it short and sweet. The instructor is nice, as well as everyone else who had a part in running the place. Students should not stress over whether or not it is difficult. As long as you pay attention and don't goof around, you'll pass. If a student can't learn something a certain way, the instructor will work around it to ensure the student learns.***RI STUDENTS UNDER 18The people working at the RI DMV were not helpful. The process they explained to me is different than the one my instructor explained, and I've emailed the instructor with this new information to prevent confusion for other RI students.Any minor looking to get their permit MUST complete a certain permit test. This specific test must be completed either at CCRI or at the RI DMV itself. I don't know if the CCRI permit test is available to everyone or just people taking the CCRI driver's ed course. However, I can explain the process if you wish to go through only the RI DMV.To get your permit at the RI DMV without going to driver's ed at CCRI, you must first schedule a 2-hour reservation (NO WALK-INS AS OF MAY 2022). They told me to do this through their website. The reservation MUST be the "written/computerized permit test." They told me the test is NOT 2 hours long, they give you a maximum of 2 hours to complete it. Next, you go to the RI DMV, head to the second floor, and head to the check-in area. The security guard at the front door asked for something to identify me, I used my vaccination card. At the check-in area you must provide 3 things.1. The student's driver's ed certificate (Given by instructor at school)2. Proof of residence for the student. If that is not possible, proof of residence for the parent/guardian is required3. The student's birth certificate or passport (I believe they accept something else but I couldn't hear over the people next to me)This is where my RI DMV adventure ended. I assume after this you just take the permit test and then get your permit. I recommend taking the study guide they offer in case there is different material on their test.“

“Jim was amazing! I signed up for the Gold Package, which included private lessons that I found to be extremely helpful as I was very nervous. Jim always made me feel at ease and comfortable in every lesson. He gave me the confidence I needed and prepped me very well for the road test and I passed on my first try! I can't thank Jim enough! ~ Kylie Tessicini“
