For those looking for a great place to really learn karate and positive discipline, MKA is where to be. My son started a little over a month ago and we've seen a difference in him already. He's become more confident with himself and has had even more of a great attitude at home. Mr. Van and Mr. Josh are both great instructors and make it a great atmosphere to be in even as a parent watching his kid. They make the classes fun all while keeping the kids in check. I salute them both. They have adults classes also. Ill be looking into that! My wife and I are beyond happy that we found MKA.

This review is overdue! We couldn't be happier with our experience at MKA. The staff here are incredible to watch. They truly know how to work with children, and it’s so impressive to see how they engage and motivate every student. A special shoutout to Mr. Josh! He has a natural way of making every child feel included, no matter how nervous they may be to try karate. He is patient and enthusiastic, and always finds creative ways to make each class fun and engaging.

I cannot say enough amazing things about how transformative our experience has been at Middletown Karate Academy! My daughter had been in all sorts of sports but the second she started here she was hooked. They have been amazing! It's the perfect balance between responsibility and fun!
