Incredible experience! Wonderful horses, instruction, accommodations and people. I learned more than I could have ever expected. Allowing one to learn on such talented well cared for horses made all the difference to bring back home and improve my overall understanding of dressage.

I had an incredible experience at Sons of the Wind Farm. Vitor, Maggie, and the whole team were so welcoming, easy-going, and helpful. They put me right at ease the minute I arrived. The house is spacious, charming, and super-clean and the other guests were an absolute treat to meet. The horses are unbelievable - truly. I'm not sure how else to put it. My riding experience was nothing short of phenomenal. I learned so much from Vitor and his horses. Including that I have a LOT more to learn! Vitor always made time to patiently answer all my questions; his love for the horses and the sport are obvious and translate into deep care for his guests as well. I can't wait to return to build on what I accomplished. If you can make time for the 5 day program I highly recommend it. Things didn't start to really come together for me until after day 3! If you are lucky enough to be in a position to ride at Sons of the Wind Farm book it. You won't regret it.

Incredible! Blew me away. Gave my daughter her confidence and her smile and the ability to ride like a pro. The staff is top notch and Vitor and Maggie are not just trainers but talented in the art of dressage. Unlike anything we have experienced in the horse industry.

The opportunity to ride beautiful Lusitano schoolmasters with masters of dressage instruction at the Sons of the Wind farm was truly an incredible experience! ?Every moment of my 3day stay at their Florida facility provided exactly what I had imagined….and needed! Everyone was very attentive to my riding goals and provided what felt like very personalized instruction to help prepare me for purchasing my own horse. It was very friendly, inviting, educational, focused and fun!!?The Bed & Breakfast type lodging provided a perfect breakfast to get our day started on our own time table, the house was definitely equestrian themed throughout; beautiful, comfortable and relaxing! Even down time between lessons was enjoyable…sitting poolside, reading, walking the grounds, meeting all the horses, dogs and cats, and maybe getting a nap in! ?I will definitely set goals of returning to Sons of the Wind…possibly their Massachusetts farm next time! ?Special thanks to Vitor, Maggie & Tammy as well as “Sir” & “Infante”…and Mary Beth-what an inspiration you are to another “older” rider!! So glad I met you all!?????. I highly recommend SOTW for anyone wanting to grow in their dressage journey!?

I had a great time at Sons of the Wind Farm. I learned a lot about my riding position from the excellent teaching and experienced horses. What I learned in just a few days is helping me ride better every day at home, and my horse appreciates that very much.

Without a doubt, my riding took the largest step forward I have ever taken during my three days with Sons of the Wind Farm. I brought home many new tools and confidence in my new knowledge, and my horse has already responded well--we feel and perform like a new team!I also want to mention the welcoming and friendly environment at the barn. There is class and attention to detail everywhere, from the horses to the history, but Vitor and Maggie still maintain a down-to-earth and grounded learning experience. This is not a small feat in the horse world. I enjoyed meeting everyone: the grooms, other clients, Maggie and Vitor, and especially the consummately professional horses.If you are considering lessons, do it!

The equestrian experience at Sons of the Wind is unparalleled in quality. Vitor Silva is truly a master, and one with genuine passion...not only for riding and also for bringing out excellence in his students. I learned so much in 5 days of riding. I have done similar types of holidays but NOTHING compares to this experience. The horses are amazing, and Vitor is incredibly challenging and a font of knowledge. The staff and grooms are all so kind and supportive, and they go out of their way to make this a dream holiday. If you want to ride world class horses, improve your riding and have a truly memorable equestrian experience, you can't do better than Son's of the Wind. Vitor Silva and the Son's of the Wind sojourne reminded me that dressage riding is an "art," not just a sport.
