Plaza Barber Shop is the best barber shop in Melrose. The owner and the whole staff are fantastic and awesome, providing professional, excellent, and personalized service. They are conscientious, attentive, and super nice, making customers feel like la familia. Haircuts exceed expectations, are not itchy, and get compliments. It is an asset to the local community. Customers, including children who receive a lolly pop, are very excited and couldn't be happier. They will definitely be going back regularly.
I've been living in Melrose for 30 years and I found this treasure about 10 years ago when I retired and stopped working in Boston. The entire staff is professional, friendly, and you get a great cut for the money. It's a relaxing experience and Gina, the owner, is a peach.
I was trying to get a haircut on short notice before leaving for a trip. This place took me as a walk-in on a weekday afternoon and served me right away. The gentleman who cut my hair was a real pro, had all his tools laid out neatly and went straight to work. He gave me a good haircut at a reasonable price.
