I had evidence of an old iron water line coming into my home in Somerville seeping and the city recommended that I have the water line from the sidewalk to my basement replaced with a new copper line immediately before it failed. The office manager at CJ Doherty, Alex, came out the morning after I called and patiently walked me through the work that would need to be done and did a great job setting my expectations as to how they'd approach the job and what could happen if it went sideways.They squeezed me in the next week and had the work done in half a day. They just knocked down a house across the street from me and now they’re cleaning it all up. The guy working the big claw machine thing that looks like a dinosaur is amazing. Such delicacy with a big hunk of metal. Highly recommend for both their skill and their entertainment value. I much appreciated having something cool I could watch while still social isolating in my house.
