Simply put, Soap is terrific. I’m always impressed by his ability to identify and target problem areas as a result of cycling, tennis, or just getting older!
He makes himself available to accommodate busy work schedules and I highly recommend his service.
I have been getting physical therapy for a bad shoulder at Step Ahead in Marblehead. Found out about Soap, and gave him a try. I have had many simply relaxing massage therapists, but Soap brings so much more to the table (pun intended). He really understands how the body works. His work is truly therapeutic—not only supportive of my physical therapy to strengthen the shoulder but also helping to improve flexibility and mobility in the rest of me. You can look elsewhere for a “regular” massage, but you won’t find what Soap does anywhere else!
I can confidently say Soap is the best massage therapist I’ve ever worked with. His knowledge of the body is incredible, especially how different muscles connect and affect one another. He doesn’t just treat the obvious area of pain — he understands how movement patterns and muscle relationships work together and pinpoints the true source of the issue.
What really sets him apart is his precision and attention to detail. He knows exactly where to apply pressure and how to release tension in a way that actually fixes the problem, not just temporarily relieves it. You can tell he has a deep understanding of anatomy and how the body functions.
