I change my other hairdresser for sobedia I'm a hairdresser myself and the first time I went there I observed how fast and professional and her finishing touches I was very pleased. for me she's the best hairdresser to ever pleased me besides myself Love the environment.

Petronilla hooked me up! I went in on a Saturday for a wash, blow out and trim. I was fortunate to get a same day appointment. Petronilla was very gentle with my hair and utilized high quality products in my hair. I asked her to reduce the amount of heat on the blow dryer because my hair gets heat damaged easily and she was respected my wishes. The trim was perfect and framed my face well. She also used the flat iron to give my hair a nice bump and applied extra heat protection for that. The salon is beautiful, clean and airy. I will definitely return!

I am new to Beverly, MA. There are no black or Dominican Salons that I could find. Someone told me go to Union Street so I googled it and found Jay's Beauty Salon. I called because new town, new culture. In NYC, Dominican salons do only walk-ins. Not here. I made an appointment and I was set.For a Saturday appointment, I was ready to spend the whole day here because that is what I have always experienced but NOPE. I walked right into a chair with my stylist, Petronila. Don't steal my stylist but she is AWESOME. But as I look around, I think I would have been fine with anyone here. Everyone speaks English here, which wasn't the case in NYC all my years getting my hair...read full review
