Don't go here if you expect to be seen in a timely fashion. The first time I brought my cat here they kept me waiting a while, I am not sure exactly how long but it seemed a while, and even once we were in the exam room we waited like ten additional minutes for the vet to come. I assumed maybe it was a one time thing and bushed it off, not thinking about it too much. The next time I brought my cat in for a booster and this time I kept an eye on how long the wait was. It was a full half hour after our appointment time before we were seen. :/ Then they made me wait AGAIN after the appointment was done just to check out!! My family has been coming to Northshore Animal Hospital for upwards of 20 years. We have always taken advantage of the Friends of Animals spay/neuter program offered through the vet. Well, I tried to make an appointment for my kitten to be spayed using a friends of animals certificate here and the receptionist was extremely rude. She kept interrupting and would jump down my throat any time I tried to say something. She told me that they now require a surgical consultation and vet visit with the vet to accept the certificates, and I would have to pay for both. I was there today with my friend and her cat, Jackson. She had to make the hard decision to let him go. The doctor and nurse were so compassionate,caring and understanding. They let my friend stay as long as she wanted to say goodbye to her beloved cat.
