Came here so I wouldn't have to listen to the wife nag me anymore. I can get away with cutting my own hair, but…So, she suggested I go to a place in Lex. Here I come. Very nice place. Parking. Old-fashioned. Very professional gentleman who is both owner and barber. No TV's, thank God, or useless banter. Absence of perfume and other put-offs was nice. Thank you for sticking to the basics. Took a chance and walked in for a long-overdue haircut yesterday. Two barbers working in the small, unadorned shop. No wait at all. My barber, the younger of the two, took his time and seemed to want to make every hair perfect. I want to zone out and not make small talk during a haircut, so was glad this guy wasn't chatty. Pricing was great ($20 before tip - and they take credit cards) and walked out with a good haircut. As another reviewer suggested - there is nothing fancy here and that is exactly what I was looking for. I'll be back for sure.
