My son has been learning drums with James for last two years, he is an awesome teacher. My son is eager to learn from James and is looking forward for every class. James has created a unique teaching structure where he mixes the technique with songs so the kids are motivated to come back. My son has learnt so much in the last 2 years which has set a strong foundation for his drumming journey.
James is a great teacher! As an adult, I was hesitant to take lessons as it can sometimes be a bit uncomfortable and nerve wracking learning something new. James has made me feel very comfortable learning without any added pressure or stress of being judged. As a true beginner having never touched a drum set before, he’s given great advice, tips, and tricks so far to help me learn. 10/10 recommend The Drum Academy!
Been taking lessons with James for about 5 years, he's an excellent teacher! Flexible, supportive, friendly, and knows his stuff! Great to play on a real kit!
