About Len Brassard's Family Martial Arts Center
Len Brassard's Family Martial Arts Center is a highly respected and welcoming martial arts school that focuses on developing great human beings. With a basis in American Kenpo, the program emphasizes character development, teaching students positive qualities such as modesty, integrity, perseverance, self-control, indomitable spirit, and wisdom. The school's approach is not just about physical training, but also about supporting the overall growth and readiness of its students to thrive in life. The owner, who has a background in psychology, leads engaging lectures on deep character development and life skills, ensuring that the lessons go beyond the martial arts. The classes are structured to be both challenging and supportive, with a strong emphasis on respect, kindness, and positive reinforcement. Students are encouraged to practice the techniques and forms, with instructors providing personalized feedback to help them improve. The school also offers a "mastery class" that provides additional educational components, such as leadership training and learning about other martial arts disciplines. The school is described as a "family," where people of all backgrounds come together to support each other's development. The positive environment and the focus on character building make it an excellent choice for families, especially those with children on the autism spectrum. Overall, Len Brassard's Family Martial Arts Center is a unique and transformative martial arts school that goes beyond the physical aspects of the art, offering a holistic approach to personal growth and development.
