“i got my haircut by shavonne 1 day before moving to portugal. i took a risk in getting curtain bangs and layers and still two months later i couldn’t be happier. even after growing quite a bit, my layers are still defined and my hair drys beautifully without any need for styling. shavonne also helped me purchase the two products she used in my hair for adding volume and thickness to my very fine straight hair that often falls flat. i couldn’t have asked for a better experience, shavonne is a friendly and wonderful person with impressive hair styling skills.“

“I went to this salon for the first time to get a keratin treatment. 10/10 results. I have medium curly hair that gets difficult to manage after all the hard water buildup. My hair felt so dry and frizzy. Mandy did the formaldehyde free keratin treatment on me. No harsh smells, one wash. I was blown away with how my hair turned out. It felt like I had just relaxed my hair. Definitely recommend!“

She’s not just a nail technician — she’s a true artist and such a kind, calming soul. I first came to her over 11 years ago, and even after moving away, I still make time to see her whenever I’m in town. “All the staff were incredibly friendly & my stylist, Meagan was beyond fabulous. The energy of both staff and environment was upbeat yet relaxed. The salon is big and open with a cozy, chill vibe.
Meagan gave a brief consultation before she started and she really heard not just what I wanted but needed. I had a vague (yet also semi-specific) idea of what I wanted & she really just seemed to “get” what I was looking for. I really just wanted a stylist who would be comfortable & confident enough to take whatever liberties they needed while I sit back and let them work their magic & that is exactly what I got! Meagan explained her processes as she went through them, was mindful of my hair & comfort as she was working. She was engaging, exciting & passionate about her work (which shines through my now-beautiful hair!) I cannot say enough good things about how happy I am with my experience at DruMais.
