Awesome place to take your pets. We have been using Kingston Animal Hospital for close to 30 years now, and many pets !! The friendliness and sincere concern for our pets has kept us returning. We wouldn't consider taking our fur babies anywhere else. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable and they really care about your pet. Definitely recommend them.

Dr. Rudin has been taking care of my cats for years. She gives them a thorough examination and always asks about how they’re doing at home. 😻

Although this vet office is more expensive then others we have used we like that there are hours that accommodate our schedule and staff that remain constant. All have answered my questions and don't make me feel foolish for asking. Office staff is nice too. And for the most part they answer follow-up questions readily. What I struggle with is that the medical records of my pets are not available to view. And sometimes I have to remind them of their allergies/issues. I also like the option of having Dr. Russo available for alternative medical care. This type of integration is needed in all our lives. Thank you!

It was wonderful to have the holistic appointment with Dr Russo. I feel as though he truly put my dog at ease and in a calm state almost immediately and gave me invaluable tips to help her have a healthy life. I would recommend this holistic appointment to anyone

I had some apprehension about writing this review, but after much thought, I have decided to write it. I have been bringing my dog to the Kingston animal hospital since she was 12 weeks old. She will be two years old in February. She is a rescue and mixed breed. Needless to say, she has some trauma. I use positive reinforcement techniques and attended AKC training to help her acclimate.

I have had more than one bad experience at the Kingston Animal Hospital. After the vet spayed my dog, she said that she thought my dog may have deformed legs and that she may need corrective surgery, and referred me to a specialist. The specialist asked me why I was there and said my pup's legs were fine.

We visited for a sick visit with a new vet and a few more times for vaccines, my dog's anxiety increasing with each visit. Recently, I tried to fill a prescription for my dog's flea, tick, and worm meds. The vet canceled it. I called, and they said they needed a blood test. I set up the appointment, but to my surprise, when I arrived, the vet wasn't there, and two Vet techs whisked my dog to the back, put a muzzle on her, and I could hear her whaling and screaming! They then came out, announced that she got the muzzle off, and one of the techs tossed the muzzle onto the exam table and said, β€œWe need your help!”

What? seriously?!? Why not focus on positive reinforcement?? They unsuccessfully continued to get her blood, and then I stopped it and left. A few days later, I got a voice message from the woman at the front desk telling me that the Vet wants me to drop off my dog for the day to sedate her to get blood! What?!? No way! They have NO IDEA how to treat nervous dogs! My dog is great in EVERY setting, yet not at Kingston Animal Hospital. They are terrible! Today I brought my dog to a new Vet and guess what? They focused on making my dog's visit a positive experience. They were very kind and professional and were able to take blood for the test!!! With me in the room, by the way!

When you are concerned about your pet you need help that makes your pet better and you come away with confidence that you went to the right place.
